The entrance to the unknown
Studying a language could be
difficult, even if you're listening every time when people talk in another
language close to you.
Language
is one of the most amazing social structures ever created, I will explain:
Can you
remember how do you learn to talk in your native language? It was a hard
process to your brain to order all the ideas you got when you was a baby. How
could you do it? Maybe you repeat every word you listened and then you added a
meaning for that specific word or sentence that someone said.
However,
you were aware about your progress by the years go. Learn to communicate is a
fundamental skill to transmit your ideas, we do it through speaking, reading,
listening and writing, it doesn't matter if you want to communicate in your
native language or in a new one.
I've
been shocked by this mental process so I decided to "improve" my
English taking some "extra" English classes at University.
My
experience was strange, I was really brave when I had the English test to enter
at ENALLT but, when I realized the test was hard, I felt really disappointing
in my knowledge.
ENALLT offered
me the opportunity to have good English courses, great classmates and an
amazing environment to learn.

I think to study in ENALT is a great xperience and it isn't easy to enter, but one time that you are in, is important to do the best and learn the most things that you can!.
ResponderEliminarI am completely agree with you, if we want to communicate properly in a language even if it is your native language you need to study and you will improve your skills. And of course the other variables are important like the environment, classmates and teachers can help you to improve your learning.
ResponderEliminarThe mental process of learning is very intriguing, one we don't really notice until we stop to think about or we start learning a new language. You said it's well known but I didn't know English was an obligatory course at your Faculty until now. Whoops.
ResponderEliminarI think is great you want to improve yourself and that you've found a great environment for doing so here in the ENALLT.
