Princess of the sea

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.

It was around 3:00 am, I couldn't sleep because the hot weather.
I decided to get up and go around the hotel with my friends, we sat on the deck chairs contemplating the sky and listening to the ocean's noise.

It was forbidden to go to the coast because at night the sea level rises.
We didn't across the line that separates the hotel from the coast. However, we could appreciate something spectacular.

There it was... A turtle coming out of the sea!

We couldn't believe what our eyes saw (especially me, I thought that the closest thing to living a similar experience was seeing National Geographic channel.)

The turtle was closer to the concrete that divided the hotel from the beach. She was making a very strange movement, she was digging in the sand with her head and fins:

She was about to lay its eggs!

The process was taking too long, we thought about helping her but that could scare her so we let things follow their natural rhythm.

It was definitely an experience that will never be repeated.
